Masaka Outreach August 12th 2026

Yesterday we went to a village called Masaka. Three vans traveled seven or eight hours, and at one point in time we crossed the equator to the southern hemisphere. Why? To help write the story God has planned for a few people in an even more remote part of an area outside the city of Masaka. We traveled with God’s grace and mercy. We arrived to a church that was filled with singing and dancing. Our team, orchestrated by God himself, jumped into action. Everyone using their gifts to the fullest, in spite of some physical sickness. Jesus used us, as he does everyone who is willing to be broken and poured out, to accomplish the task that he had for those that he loves in this village. There was singing and dancing. There were games with prizes.

We all had a great lunch together, every mouth was fed, and there were leftovers. The word was taught three times, by three different people. It was obvious that the ground had been plowed in the hearts of many, by much prayer before we ever arrived. 12 adults and eight childrens names were added to the book of life, 24 people made re-commitments to follow hard after Jesus. When we left that church in that remote outskirts of Masaka, our group was quiet. Some were not feeling well, most were exhausted, but all confident in spirit that Jesus is more than enough. We are privileged and grateful that he used us to accomplish his purposes today in Masaka, all glory goes to him!
