AICM Summer Newsletter

Dear Friends of AICM,

This year has looked a lot different than any of us expected.  At the beginning of 2020, when we dreamed of what would happen this year, we never expected to endure a global pandemic.  This reminds of the words of Jesus’ brother James, when he said…

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
James 4:13-15

It’s true! This season of ministry, more than any other, has caused us to say “not our will Lord, but Yours”. Where we thought ministry would be locked down, the Lord opened new doors of unexpected ministry opportunities.  He presented us with new ways and new people to love generously.  He increased our desire to pray bold, scary prayers.  He gave us the opportunity to slow down and pray alongside our staff in Uganda, “give us this day our daily bread” with a renewed sense of need and dependence on Him.

More than ever, we are reminded just how thankful we are to have YOU standing with us.  We are thankful for your support, your prayers, your encouragement, and investment in the work of the Lord in Uganda.  Our team in the U.S., and our team in Uganda thanks you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with us through this turbulent season.  We are eternally grateful.

With you, for Him,

Aaron Cronen
