Year End Donation

Dear friend of AICM,

The year is coming to an end; and fast!  As we look back on 2019 we can’t help but celebrate all of the incredible things God did in the lives of the precious children in Uganda.  2019 will be a year marked by salvation, miracles, rescue, restoration and so many more God things. Listen to this story from Isaac, a child in our sponsorship program (ACCS) and member of the Agape Kids Choir (AKC).  Isaac’s family was also impacted by our emergency response project, Agape Heart to Heart. 

Isaac shares, “As a family of six, we used to eat one meal a day and sometimes had no water. One afternoon my father went to the garden to get jackfruit for us to eat at lunch that day. As he climbed up to get the fruit, he missed a step and fell off the tree and hit his head down on a stone and he breathed no more, leaving me and my two brothers and mom who had no job alone. Two months after his death, our little house caught fire and we lost everything. When this second trial happened, I didn’t see any hope for my life and family. I loved my father so much because he made sure that my brothers, mother and I had everything we needed. When he died, I felt so alone and whenever I remember him I feel sad. While I do not understand it, I believe that God has always had a wonderful plan for my life. And through his unfailing love, AICM was able to build us a new home where we live with great joy.” 

Not only was Isaac’s family rescued from a tragic situation, Isaac now receives monthly support from a sponsor in the US that provides the education and care this young boy needs to be a world-changer for Jesus Christ.  This story, like so many others, is possible because of the generous financial partners that give to AICM.
